The Dr. Jordan B. Peterson Reading List (Project 1)

Alright everyone, I have finally put everything together online to announce the beginning of my first major project. As many of you know, I am about to graduate with a degree in Psychology and History. Because of this, I came across Dr. Jordan B. Peterson who is a professor of psychology at the University of Toronto. Once I began watching his lectures online I became hooked, and have watched almost every YouTube clip I possibly find. I also, downloaded his book. A few months ago, I went to his website and found out that he had built a list of books which he promotes as some of the most important texts from which people can learn about western culture. After reading through the list I was curious and I have always been someone who enjoys reading a well written book. Therefore, I had this idea that because I am about to graduate in a couple months and I am not ready to stop my education, I developed a plan to read this list of books. As I doing so, I will produce videos and podcasts; lecturing on the what I found, what I think, and what my overall opinion of the works are. There are currently 19 books on his list, and the I am going to start with the first one titled Brave New World which is written by Aldous Huxley. If your interested in following my work, I am uploading the videos on my YouTube, and Soundcloud accounts, and I welcome any participation. If your interested in reading the books, I will link to the list at Dr. Peterson’s website here, and I will list them below as well. This is going to be a rather long project, and since I am currently still finishing up courses, it may be slow going at first. Thank-you for your support, and as always keep checking back for more content.
